About Me
No matter where I live, I will always be a Marylander at heart. Since growing up in Ellicott City I have lived in several states. I earned my B.S. degree in Geography at Salisbury University. I then moved to Tuscaloosa, Alabama where I earned my M.S. degree in Geography at the University of Alabama. I started my Ph.D. in Geography and Environmental Science and Policy in Tampa, Florida at the University of South Florida in 2015 and graduated in 2020.
When I am not working on my research or teaching, I enjoy traveling, cooking, watching the weather, trail and road cycling, hiking, running, and spending time with family and friends!
I also love to play volleyball and disc golf. While living in Florida, I became an active runner and triathlete, competing in many races over the last several years.
