About Me

No matter where I live, I will always be a Marylander at heart. Since growing up in Ellicott City I have lived in several states. I earned my B.S. degree in Geography at Salisbury University. I then moved to Tuscaloosa, Alabama where I earned my M.S. degree in Geography at the University of Alabama. I started working on my Ph.D. in Geography and Environmental Science and Policy in Tampa, Florida at the University of South Florida in 2015 and graduated in 2020.
In my free time I enjoy traveling, cooking, watching the weather, trail and road cycling, hiking, running, and spending time with family and friends!
I also love to play volleyball and disc golf. While living in Florida, I became an active runner and triathlete, competing in many races over the last several years.
